I do NOT have a green thumb. Not even close. I usually end up killing everything I try to grow. And, most of the time its because I get so busy that I neglect it (like...um...this blog, for instance?!?!?) Anyway...we decided this year to really try to make an attempt at gardening. So, today we built a little 5' x 10' area behind the boys swing set, fenced it to keep out the rabbits and little boys, and have several plants growing....at least for now.
We have tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, and watermelon. We'll see how this pans out. The fence it completely temporary if we fail miserably. And, if, on the off chance, we are actually successful, we have plans to expand next year.
