Slippin' and Slidin'

Chase got a Slip and Slide for his birthday...and today was HOT! Seemed like the perfect toy to play with on a 90+ degree day! We waited patiently for Cole to get home from school, ate a quick lunch, and headed outside! Chase LOVED it! And, while he never really got the hang of diving onto the plastic and sliding to the pool at the end. The poor kid would run until he fell down...laughing the entire time! Or, Mommy would throw him down the slide on his tummy and he would beg to do it over and over! The kid has no fear!

Cole (who I swear is part cat) eventually liked it. But, it took quite awhile before he would venture down. He didn't want to get wet above the knees...so it was awhile before he work up the nerve. And, he was hillarious to watch...probably the only kid to ever use a slip and slide and not get wet above the waist! He would tip toe down the slide and then drop to his knees in the pool. He was so proud of himself! :)














Hey, this thing makes a good drinking fountain!
