Today we went to the Living History Festival in Harrisonville, MO, which focuses on Missouri Civil War era history. We saw a couple of re-enactments of Confederate and Union battles and, as luck would have it, the same carnival that we went to last weekend in Liberty was in town again today. (That would be Cole's good fortune, not Mommy and Daddy's!) So,once again, we were suckered into buying tickets for the rides. (Although, we did manage to talk him into riding different rides this time!) Mommy and Cole rode the Merry-Go-Round and went down a HUGE slide together. And, Cole even got to ride on a pony! We topped off the day with a stop at Dairy Queen to cool off before we headed home.
