Stranger Danger?

Somehow Cole and I got in a discussion about safety. He knows what to do if there is a fire or a tornado. He knows not to go into the street or a parking lot alone.

So, I asked him what he should do if a stranger approaches him about going with them. He immediately said, "I should say "NOOOOO."" Very good! Then, the following conversation ensued:

Mom: Well, what if the stranger says, "Come with me, I have lots of candy."
Cole: I should say NO!
Mom: Well, what if they say, "I have all the candy in the whole world, plus lots of Leapster games, and a swimming pool!!"
Cole: I'd say, YES!!!!
Mom: No, Cole!! You never, ever go with a stranger!
Cole: But, I just have to check out what kind of candy they have and see what kinds of Leapster games they have! I need more of those, you know!

Yikes! Looks like we have more work to do!!! In the meantime, this kid won't be leaving my sight! :)
