All the snow days this week really put a damper on the Dr. Suess Week activities that had been planned at Chase's school... However, they did go ahead and celebrate on Friday! The children were all supposed to wear black for a Cat the Hat activity in his classroom. Chase chose his black jean and his black striped sweater to "match the stripes in the Cat's hat."
I opted to drop off/pick-up the boys from school today, due to the fact that the gravel roads were still icy and slick. So, as I was waiting in the long line of cars at the school this afternoon, I had NO problem spotting my little Cat in the Hat as he walked out of the building!
