Before we had children, our cars were our 'babies." Not our daily drivers, of course, but our old ones. The ones we kept sparkly clean, polished, and drove on the weekends to car shows and cruise nights. Daddy's hot rods, Mom's old Mustang.
Now that we have the boys, Daddy doesn't get to spend as much time with his cars as he used to. But, he still daydreams about them. And, he doesn't love old cars any less. So, when he saw this one, he couldn't resist. Meet the newest addition to our car family. A 1928-29 Ford truck.
It doesn't look like much now, but it will. Daddy has been working on building the chassis for the past several months. And, a couple of years from now, this thing will look great! Or, at least not like this hunk 'o junk. I hope.
Are the boys excited about this new truck? You betcha! (As you can clearly see from the cheers!)
