Tonight was Cole's very first Pinewood Derby....and he won FIRST PLACE in his bracket!!! He took a 3rd place over all! WOO HOO!!!
He and Daddy worked really hard on his Pinewood Derby car! There were many nights of cutting, sanding, painting, drilling, and putting in weight. When they got to the weigh-in, they discovered that the car was a little too heavy. But, luckily Daddy had taken the drill along, and was able to drill out enough weight to car the car where it should be.
Here is a video of Cole winning his race against the Bears den and taking first place. If you listen closely, you can hear him shouting, "I'm winning!" and "I won!" :) That was one happy boy!
