Tonight, the 2nd grade put on a play entitled "This Old Gingerbread House." It was very cute! And, even though Cole auditioned for a role but didn't get a part, he was still a member of the choir. And, had a tiny part during the opening of the play where he, along with a couple of other kids, ate some candy off the gingerbread house!
The play was about Hansel and Gretel who were forced to leave town after the villagers nibbled their gingerbread house to the point that it was unfit to live in. However, later on, Bob Villa and crew from "This Old House" came to town to repair it. And, Hansel and Grettel were then able to move back home. Very cute story and the kids did a fantastic job!
