Today marked the start of guitar lessons for Chase! And, boy was he super excited! He is attending classes at The Rock Room in Lee's Summit. It is a "school of rock" type setting with each class being a band and each band coming up with their own set list and songs for the performance at the end of the school year. Come next Spring, Chase will be up on stage performing with a rock band!
Though he thoroughly loved his guitar lesson, his only disappointment was that his acoustic guitar was not loud enough next to a room full of electric guitars. So, I'm seeing a trip to the music store in our near future! I think we will be trading his new guitar in another new (electric) guitar for my little rocker!
Can't wait to see how this guy progresses with his music. He seems to have a real ear for it and he loves to rock!
