Thank you, Uncle Darrell!

The boys received the coolest gift today... Uncle Darrell (who is a golf pro in Las Vegas) sent them a BIG box of golf stuff!!! It could not have come at a better time either! With all this snow, the boys have had way too many show days to even count! And, even though Cole would much prefer staying home over going to school, the kids are starting to get bored!

As we were eating lunch today, we saw the FedEx truck stop on the street. (The snow is still too deep in our driveway for the truck to even attempt to drive on it!) I was happy to see the driver carrying the box down the driveway! I even thought, "Wow!! This is great customer service!"

Yeah...about 15 feet down the driveway, he changed his mind, dumped the box, and left. *sigh* So, I had to put on my coat, gloves, and boots to tromp my way through the snow and then carry this huge box back to the house!

Once inside, it was like Christmas all over again! The boys were so excited to see that Uncle Darrell had sent 4 clubs (2 of them putters), a putting mat, a hitting mat (which won't be used until we can get outside!!!), tees, balls, and 2 childrens' golfing handbooks!

Immediately, we set up the putting mat in the basement and they boys went crazy perfecting their golf skills!
