Sledding with Daddy

So, cabin fever set in for the boys BIG TIME and when Mommy and Daddy couldn't take it any longer, Daddy decided to take the kids outside to burn off a little energy. Unfortunately, it was not exactly 'playing outside' type weather and the sledding didn't last long at all. (And, Mommy stayed inside and just snapped a few shots from an upstairs window!)

While the bad news is that the outside time didn't last nearly long enough for Mommy's and Daddy's sake, the good news is that we discovered this house has an awesome backyard for sledding! It is sloped just enough that it makes for a LOOOOONG slow ride to the fence in back. But, it isn't too terribly hard to climb back to the top to do it all over again! (Though, it IS quite a hike in itelf.) I'm sure as the boys get older, they will enjoy many hours of sledding in this yard! :)

Chase enjoyed just walking around. His first trip down the sled hill ended up with him falling out of the sled and getting snow inside his gloves. And, that was the end of sledding!
