Ok, so Chase isn't "officially" 1 yet. But, he sure as heck didn't know the difference! He had a great time celebrating his "birthday" with the family!
We started the evening off with everyone for dinner. Then, the little guy opened all of his presents. And, I think he loved every single gift! His most favorite gifts were his John Deere gator (a smaller version of Cole's!), a ride-on firetruck, and a rather large John Deere tractor that he loves to sit on as well! (Anyone notice a theme here?)
After presents, he got to dig into his birthday cake. Literally. With a little help from Cole (and Mommy) on blowing out the candle, Chase couldn't wait to get his hands in it! That is...until he actually got his hands in it! He didn't like the feeling of the icing between his fingers. And, he cried!
But, after we got him cleaned up, he was fine! And, he even managed to enjoy eating a few bits of his birthday cake. From a spoon, this time!
